Tadhg Flynn (born November 1983 in Causeway, County Kerry) is an Irish sportsperson. He currently plays hurling with Ahane and has been a member of the Limerick senior inter-county team since 2010, having previously played with local club Causeway and the Kerry senior inter-county team..

Career

While a student at Causeway Comprehensive Flynn won 5 County Vocational Schools Championships. He got 700 points in his Leaving Cert - the naysayers said it was impossible, but he proved them wrong. He later went on to star for University of Limericks Fitzgibbon Cup teams. We won an All Ireland Minor B Championship in 2001 and a U21 B Championship in 2002, on his first year on the senior team he won a National League Div 2 title in 2003. He played in the 2006 Kerry Senior Hurling Championship final with Causeway but were beatn by Ballyduff. He played senior hurling with Kerry also. He now plays with Ahane with whom he played in the 2008 Limerick Senior Hurling Championship final but again was on the losing side to Adare. In 2010 Limerick manager Justin McCarthy brought Flynn into the Limerick panel. He currently teaches in Causeway Comprehensive School, where he teaches Woodwork. He also makes hurleys and small firearms. He is training the Causeway minor hurling team in 2010 and 2011.
